Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Alpha Lion Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"), 2035 W Monte Cristo Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85023, USA, collects on rubysjars.thecreatorfunnel.com, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We are responsible for your information on this site.

What we collect

When you sign up for a free product:

  • Your first name, last name and email address.
  • A record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address, your browser (user agent), the page you signed up on and how you found us (for example a tracking tag in the link, campaign tags, and the page you came from).

When you buy:

  • Your first name, last name and email address, and your order details: what you bought, the price, the date, whether it was refunded, and Stripe's reference numbers.
  • Whether you ticked the optional marketing box.
  • Stripe, our payment provider, collects your card details (and may ask for your billing country or postcode). We never see or store your card details.

When you use your products:

  • When you download a product, and where you stopped reading if you read online, so you can pick up where you left off.

When you get our emails:

  • When email is connected, delivery, bounce and spam reports will be recorded. [TO CONFIRM BEFORE EMAIL ACTIVATION: whether open and click tracking will be enabled; update this paragraph to match the actual configuration.]

When you contact us:

  • Your name, email address and your message (with any attachments), through the contact form or by replying to our emails, so we can answer you.

When you visit the site:

  • Basic technical information such as your IP address and browser, which our hosting, security and bot-check services use to keep the site working and safe.

We only ask for your first name, last name and email address. We do not ask for your postal address or phone number.

Why we use it

  • To deliver what you asked for: confirm your sign-up, give you your free or paid products, send receipts and access links, and handle refunds.
  • To send you emails you agreed to: our emails with tips, stories and offers. You get these if you signed up for a free product, or ticked the optional box at checkout. If you bought without ticking it, we only send emails about your purchase.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To understand what works: for example which video or link brought you to the site.
  • To keep the site safe and stop spam, fraud and misuse.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping sales records.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: your consent (marketing emails, and analytics or advertising cookies where they are used); performing our contract with you (delivering products and handling refunds); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, understanding which links work, answering messages); and legal obligations (sales records).

We never sell your personal information.

Who helps us handle it

We share your information only with companies that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:

  • The Creator Funnel, operated by Alpha Lion Enterprises LLC: hosting of this site, our email list and our help desk, on servers provided by Hostinger.
  • Cloudflare: DNS, content delivery and protection for this site, bot checks on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), and encrypted backups.
  • Stripe (not yet connected): will process payments when paid products are offered; there is no checkout at present.
  • Resend (not yet connected): intended for sending and receiving email. Email delivery and double opt-in are not operational until the connection is configured.
  • YouTube: external links take you to our channel; no videos are embedded in these pages. YouTube applies its own policy when you visit it.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or if our business is sold or reorganised (with the same protections).

Cookies, analytics and advertising

  • Essential cookies keep the site working: for example, to keep you signed in to My Products during your visit, to protect our forms, and to run the bot check. The site does not work properly without them.
  • Analytics: we do not use analytics cookies on this workspace.
  • No advertising pixels: we do not use advertising pixels (such as the Meta, Google Ads or TikTok pixels) on this site. If we ever add them, we will update this policy first, and add a "Do not sell or share my personal information" option and support for Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, before they are used.

How long we keep it

  • Email list: while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and the record of your unsubscribe so we never email you marketing by mistake again.
  • Orders, invoices and tax records: 7 years.
  • Consent records: for as long as your contact record exists, plus 5 years, so we can show what you agreed to.
  • Messages to us: 3 years after the conversation is closed.
  • Security logs: 12 months.
  • Backups: copies in our encrypted backups are deleted within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe at any time with one click from any of our marketing emails.
  • Ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you, through our contact form at rubysjars.thecreatorfunnel.com/contact. We may need to confirm it is you, and we aim to reply within 30 days [TO CONFIRM]. If we delete your data, you also lose access to products you bought, so you may want to download them first.
  • Depending on where you live (for example California and other US states with privacy laws, or the EU or UK), you may have these rights by law, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using them.
  • Cookies: only essential cookies are currently used on this workspace; analytics and advertising integrations are not connected.

Where your information is stored

We are based in the United States, and the site is run from servers in [TO CONFIRM: data-centre location]. Our intended email provider, Resend, processes email in the United States; the workspace is not connected yet. Our other service providers may handle your information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there. We welcome visitors and customers from the European Union and the United Kingdom; where EU, UK or Swiss law requires a safeguard for transfers to our service providers, we use the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted backups, strict access controls and security monitoring. Your product access links work once and expire, and downloads only start from the site, never from a link in an email.

Children

This site is meant for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and you must be 18 or over to sign up or buy. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version on this page applies from the date it is posted. If we make an important change, we may also tell you by email.
